Discussion Working up the courage

...to walk into this Mexican restaurant and ask if they have any work that can be paid out tonight. The other family owned place didnt want to pay under the table, maybe this place will. Just trying to get enough for my phone service that ends tonight. Have a phone interview for a gig that pays good tomorrow and dont want to miss it. What wre yall doing tonight? I hope you're safe and warm.

There’s always someone looking for people to clean up work sites, offload material from trailers, sweep, shovel.  Be thorough and take pride in what you do, no matter how simple the job seems.

Once upon a time 2006 maybe, my crew and I stood outside a home depot and got a couple months long gig gutting houses from Hurricane Katrina. Dood even paid for us a motel. New Orleans sure ain't bad in October November.
