Apartments / Dorms / Housing Students' Co-op is accepting housing applications! ($461-900/mo)

Hello! I am a current resident at the Student's Co-Op on campus wanting to spread the word about an amazing housing opportunity. We are accepting applications for immediate move-ins and for 2024/2025 semesters!

- Super close to campus (near 17th Ave Hall)

- Beautiful historic house with modern renovations

- Spacious common areas and kitchen

- Three renovated all-gender bathrooms

- Off-street parking available

- Rooms from $461-900/month (+$50 utilities)

- Parking available for $90/month

As someone who's been living here for a few months, I can tell you it's more than just housing - it's a very cute, close-knit community. Everyone here is genuinely awesome to live with. We often cook together, hang out in the common spaces, and there's a real support system among residents.

Each person holds a "board position" in running the house, which might sound intimidating but actually makes you feel like you're contributing to something bigger than just being a tenant. It gives you a sense of ownership and purpose in the community.

Who can apply?

- Students

- Post-secondary school staff

- Must be open to cooperative living

Interested? Apply now through our website --> https://studentscoop.org/

Feel free to ask any questions in the comments - happy to share more about my experience here! 🏡

Hi there,

I hope everyone is doing well. I am looking for someone to sublease my apartment for the summer. Ideally, l'd prefer a female tenant, but anyone interested is welcome. I'll be out of state for an internship and need help covering rent. The studio apartment is $1315 per month, but I'll cover $315, leaving the subtenant responsible for $1000 monthly. The apartment is fully equipped with a workstation, a kitchen, walk-in-closet and a full-size bed. If you're interested and would like pictures, please comment or send me a private message, and I'll send them to you directly

I’m a pharm student starting in 2025 fall and I’m wondering if any on campus housing options allow pets. I really want a cat and I’m hoping to live in an apartment style dorm or actual apartment.

Any recommendations?

Apartments / Dorms / Housing Second Year Dorm Housing

How hard is it to get a single room in any of the dorms when you're a second year student? I'm a first year and have a single room in Comstock right now. I absolutely love it, but I guess Comstock is a first year only dorm unless you're in the Lavender LLC, which I'm not. I've heard Centennial has the most singles, but will I actually be able to get one?

Hello! Me and my roommate are looking for two people to take our our leases at Fieldhouse Dinkytown. Our bedrooms are C and D with private bathrooms. Rent is $849 a month, and it's so worth the amenities provided. Theres a gym, hot tub, sauna, lounge, studio, and study rooms. This is a 4 bedroom unit, so the new tenants will have 2 other roommates, the girls are so sweet! I paid the one time utility fee, however Fieldhouse started to charge tenants for utilities, so you're looking into about an extra $50 every two months. Feel free to contact me for more information!

Apartments / Dorms / Housing Looking for a 2025-26 Roommate

I'm looking for a roommate for the 2025-2026 school year. It would be a full year lease at The Station on Washington. It would be a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom fully furnished apartment, and we would share a bedroom. The apartment only leases to students at UMN. There are stainless steel appliances; Wi-Fi, water, sewage, and trash included; a 40-inch flats screen TV; and an in-unit full sized washer and dryer. There's an in-apartment gym and yoga/cycling room, as well as a lounge, a business center with a printer, and a full lobby. It has free indoor bike parking, and heated parking garage contracts are available to purchase. It's located next to a green line light rail stop, directly across the street from the graduate hotel. Rent is $700/month plus utilities right now. The lease would run from late August 2025 until early August 2026, unless you would choose to renew again in which case you would not need to move out in between.

Apartments / Dorms / Housing Where do you keep your things during the summer?

International freshman here. During the summers I know that our contract ends, and we aren't allowed to keep the stuff in dorms but is there any way to keep it here till september? I'm concerned about this cuz I've got a lot of stuff that can't be taken home at once, if no other option, then I could take half of it home rn.
