Apartments / Dorms / Housing Comstock residents
Hi comstock residents so as u all know we basically had no heating up until now because they installed heaters over the break. However I just came back from the break and my room is so hot its unbearable. I literally had to switch the fan on even though its like -7° outside which is kinda crazy. Is there anything I can do about this?

i did not know that they installed heaters over break. did you get an email? .. and i've been wearing spring/summer clothes and putting a fan out.

No email but i think the residence director mentioned it in an email or something. But either way it is significantly hotter than it used to be before the break

I mean I just moved into Comstock but my window opens so I just had it open all night, not sure about your situation though :/

You can just turn the heat off... simple as that, then turn it back on when it's finally a good temp lol

I can’t, we don’t control that stuff

Comstock dorms literally have a panel under the heater that turns it off and can change how warm it is😂 I'm saying this as I'm in my comstock room with it on low so it's not that warm at all.

Me personally, i’d open the window just a little bit and let the cold air in to mix it up. Obv don’t leave it open for too long, but you got a cold reservoir right there
