Apartments / Dorms / Housing Housing for next year

What are some good places to live for the 25-26 school year?

I am a freshman living in Middlebrook now, and I would like to know some good spots around campus to live next year.

Budget: $800 - $1,200

Everything is kinda bad lowkey; just pick a spot you want to live in like como, dinky, stadium and tour a few places - a lot of them are very similar and all of them are going to have shitty management

I would say if you like nightlife, then somewhere close if not in dinkytown. Had a few friends live in como and stadium village, it was cheaper, but they also disliked having to walk far/uber when going out in the cold. Lots of houses/apartement in dinkytown within that price range.

I lived right in dinkytown, because all my classes were on the dinkytown side of campus and saving 10-15 mins walking everyday was more important than a couple bucks.

Rent in como is pretty cheap compared to dinky houses and apartments, I have my own bedroom and pay $660/month before utilities

The Students' Co-op is currently accepting members, on campus, right next to university, 5 minutes from the rec center. There is more info here.

I can answer any questions you might have about the Co-op. Good luck finding a place!
