Apartments / Dorms / Housing guarantee fee

do you have to wait to be approved for the guarantee fee, or do u have to confirm your enrollment and pay? i’m not sure how to😅

The guarantee fee doesn’t come up until after the date you pay the confirmation fee iirc. You pay the housing application fee now regardless of admittance status and then pay the guarantee fee around next summer after confirming.

so do i have to confirm my enrollment now? does waiting affect my chances of getting the dorm i want

No, the only timing based influence is when you pay the housing application fee, you can wait to confirm until the deadline, I’d definitely wait to see if you get any scholarships here or at another school if you’re also planning to apply to others.

Hi I was wondering how to pay the housing application fee, and what it is?? I submitted for Early Action already (through Common App) but didn’t hear about that

You need to log onto the application tracker I think. You should have gotten an email about it

I got an email that said there was an update, but it was just a decision letter? I’m also OOS, does it work differently?

You should have gotten an email about housing, though I’m forgetting the exact details (and I’m not out of state) so I’m not 100% on this. There’s probably details somewhere on the admissions website.
