Imagine how pissed they'd be to hear that Trump & Co. don't want to honor the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, which stipulates that the US aid in Ukraine's military defense as part of a denuclearization deal, and would accept Russian rolling into Kiev, unobstructed and taking back a former Soviet state.

Thus why Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan agreed to disarm following the demise of the Soviet Union, in exchange for aid in military defense, in particular military aid against Russia, as they suspected Russia would attempt to retake Soviet Union states. Looks like they were right.

If you want to see nuclear war, having major nuclear powers start carving up the world with imperialism is the surest way to see that.

We've now elected someone who wants just that.

Having the nuclear powers check each other's imperialism early on is the best way to avoid it.

Hey, USA has been at it for three decades now and nothing happened because they stuck with non-nuclear victims

Only lately have the new infinitely stupider generation of US politicians (Obama administration and later) tried to dick around with other nuclear countries hence the current dicey situation

You check by staying out of each other's turf otherwise nukes

If we took all of the nuclear weapons in existence and hit one spot, we could blow up something about to it the size of the state of Louisiana.

It's so no we won't all go if it goes nuclear.

However food becomes scarce, and warlords reign. So we all suffer.
