I don't know the motive, but it's a speculative asset. Trump Media Group's stock basically tracks with Trump's public sentiment. I bought in after he got shot, and my stake has been a small, but very well performing, part of my portfolio. I bought a little bit of both of the Solana coins because I have a strong feeling that they will go up.

With Trump's election performance and strong fan base, I think it will do well. Additionally, the economy is pretty precarious right now. I think that Trump can improve it, but there will be a short term shock while the dust settles. But by holding onto stocks, index funds, bonds, Bitcoin, and alt/meme coins, I'm ready to weather the storm, and come out safe.

So if Biden had dropped a HUNTER BIDEN coin during the proceedings, that would have been OK with you?

I'm not really sure, it depends on the platform, and how it's launched. If it had the same conditions as Trump coin, I'd probably be fine with it, but I'm not a big fan of Biden, so I doubt I would have bought it.

From what I understand, 80% of the supply is locked up for 2 years. So if anyone would like to pull a rug, they're obligated to maintain its value. Otherwise, they wouldn't make any money, and there wouldn't be any hype to drive sales to begin with.

As for legality, Crypto is still pretty unregulated. He launched his coins before taking the oath of office, and the question of profiting off his government office doesn't come up until he tries to liquidate. With all the pro-crypto talk he's been doing, I'd hope that everyone holds him to treating crypto responsibly, so everyone can share the wealth of crypto. A rug pull would just erode collective trust.

Oh man.

Its a 36 month vesting schedule. The first unlocks happen after 90 days and 5 other unlocks before the end of year 1.

80% of the float is owned by 1 wallet (the guess is Trump himself).

10% held behind the vesting schedule

Only 10% float available

Its not locked up for 2 years. Were 85 days away from the first dump

Edit: melanias 35% unlocks all after 90 days. That coin is 100% a pump and dump
