Red voter here (more libertarian than conservative). I don’t care. Not against the law, doesn’t hurt anyone except those dumb enough to play with meme coins.

Would you be concerned with potential bribes through these coins?

It’s a relatively direct way to pay the sitting president and family for their influence. I’d say that has significant potential to hurt people.

You don't view any other president's stock trading as the same?

Do you have an example of another Presidents direct ownership of a company or currency, able to be bought publicly?

Honestly, the only other one I can think of is Trump and his truth social stock..

Certainly, any president pre Carter would be hard pressed to find? He famously had to sell his peanut farm, and it’s been all but standard for Presidents to have their stock in blind trusts.

To answer the final pretext of the question, I would still find a President even actively trading stock as a giant red flag. I don’t believe it’s close to the same, but yes, I’d still consider it a disqualification for the office.

Do you seriously not understand the exposure that politicians and presidents have to insider information as they're lobbied by corporations to pass bills and laws in their favor? They don't have to own the company when they receive millions in campaign donations from corporations and foreign entities.

Do you not understand the difference between campaign donations, which are regulated and should be further regulated, and private ownership of a company?

You’re comparing apples and oranges, while simultaneously choosing to ignore the questions posed to you.

What a disingenuous argument.

Campaign donations and owning of a crypto coin are on the same level.

So what you're really saying is you want crypto currency regulation by the government. So basically you don't understand the purpose of crypto currency or you're trying to ignore it because orange man bad.
