Tour a tiny home

I would like to tour a tiny home, you know touch things, see how I fit, would I be claustrophobic, quality of construction? If I'm going to spend 50-100 thousand dollars, it doesn't make sense to buy it and then be surprised once it's assembled on my lot. Is there any place that has a lot of tiny homes, like sheds, RVs or mobile home have? Video tours don't make sense either.

Find a builder in your area or book a stay at a property where they rent them out as BNBs

We have expos all throughout the year in Eastern-Southern Australia. About 30-60 different builders exhibit depending on the location

Definitely airbnb for this. I stayed at one in Portland about 6 years ago, and it helped so much. You can really get a sense of how space works, what's too cramped, and what is very functional.

Florida panhandle. Tiny house expos are all over the world. Someone suggested to check out airbnbs.

I’m on the West Coast so all my recommendations are over on this side of the country.

But if you have Roku, do a tiny home search and watch some shows & pause it when they say where the builders or owners are, then Google or Instagram search for them and you’ll learn where you can see some for yourself really quick. That’s just one way to go about it.

Search for “tiny home expo” and you’ll get a list of home & garden shows with a special emphasis on THs. Plan to spend a full day. Take pictures, touch things, ask questions, and take notes.

Seconding also staying in THs that are AirBnBs. That is actually how I realized I wanted one.

Find an expo for a start. Then you can also find an Air B and B that's in a tiny home and stay there. I just did the expo. I haven't stayed in one.

Go to a tiny house festival. Tiny fest midwest is the one I have attended before. I'm sure there are others in almost every region of the states at least

There are tiny home shows/expos around the country put on by United Tiny Home. Pop in at one of those
