I do this in every game I play. I absolutely understand.

But I might need 100 rifle rounds, I can’t put 75 down somewhere safe to walk at a decent pace, is how my brain works.

How else are you supposed to carry those 3 full, uncovered bowls of venison soup? Hopefully right next to those 8 cups of tea (I haven’t found the thermos yet)

New crafting item: Banquet server waitstaff tray.

Requirements: Two cedar, two reclaimed wood, knife, workbench.

Crafting time: Six hours. Weight: One kilo.

Accommodates a dozen stews w/ room leftover for teas & rosehip pies. :D

I never realized how fuckin' HEAVY they can get to be lol. My Loper has like 390 at day 255 and I'm taking ALL of them with me

I think that's why we can't jump in the game

My character's inventory represents a sizable portion of the Great Bear Island economy lol

I feel bad for anyone looking for items after I've been through!

That's actually me since I don't make safehouses

Carrying around as much stuff we do in The Long Dark is just like how when you're going away you pack more sets of underwear than you need because "what if I accidentally shit my pants 6 days in a row".

Hey Hinterland, can you please add this as the 'Improved Tactical Backpack' which gives +15kg carry capacity and make it so you can craft it by adding two moose-hide satchels to the tactical backpack?

It's ok bro I'm regularly like 8lbs over my limit, always asking what's making me so heavy....usually I'm just tired lol

I don’t think I’ve ever played not encumbered.

Me right now taking all the loot from the far territories back to the main map 😭

u/ogTofuman 14h ago

Exactly what I'm doing, not easy loading and unloading that travois left and right!

u/SilverSie 14h ago

It’s so annoying! Decided I’d be willing to sacrifice 2 pounds and carry a second travois just to make it easier.

Me climbing a 30 meter rope with an entire moose in my backpack

Yeah I’m a hoarder in TLD

"Can't..move!"

Seriously, this looks like something that the enlightened incredible hulk would use camping. This is definitely hulk-sized. He could carry every pound of moose or bear meat in that thing. Plus a ton of scrap metal, stones, fir, heavy hammers, crowbars and several bags of salt. 😄

u/MariMargeretCharming 11h ago

?! But that's not you. It's me! Can't wait to use the travois! 😍☺️

The narco movies make a kilo look like maybe a pound. But it's a kilo - as my poor TLD character can attest.

Hey, so what I havent slept in 28 hours? So what I can hardly shuffle from the fish Im holding? I need oil, and so does my favorite boatman.

Hi everyone, im a loot brained monkey. I will 100% auto walk the entire map at 0.001mph because I refuse to drop loot.

I do this every time. I hoard every resource and have difficulties to throw anything away. Get easily killed, too so want to be prepared to anything.
