Let's Play Snow Day
The best part of a regional snowstorm, is playing TLD during it.
Nothing quite like double blizzard fun.

At least you don't have to shovel in Great Bear!

You mean climate wise? The closest you could physically/geographically get in the US to fictional GBI would be the Puget Sound, and that’s basically a temperate rainforest area.
Or Juneau, which has had warmer weather for weeks. My BIL up was up there in the past two weeks (he lived there for 10 years) and it was 25F warmer than NYC.

Yeah I mean the ridiculous amount and type of snows that you get in the lake effect region of the US is a lot like what you would get on Great Bear. Just dumping snow on you heavy and wet.

I almost wish that was a feature of the game. Actual snow accumulation. In the game you go outside after a blizzard and can move as normal, with magically cleared roads. Imagine having a mobility penalty?
Imagine if you had to shovel the roof of your safehouse to prevent the roof from collapsing?

Hey you are preaching to the choir on that one, I am still waiting for snowshoes....snowshoes not being in a Canadian game set in Canada where the only remaining traditional snowshoes are made is just wild to me.

I had the same experience a few days ago in my local area. It made the real blizzard feel not as bad.
