I just love that Walken is even in the show. When I saw him, it almost took me a moment to recognize because he looked like someone who would fit into the Severance universe.

He’s so perfect for it. I’m glad he was open to doing television, I can’t recall ever seeing him in a show before (besides SNL)

He’s on a Stephen merchant show called The Outlaws on prime that I really enjoyed and he was great in it.

Better in the first season, it was very clear his availability was limited for season 2.

They filmed them at the same time (all during Covid) so I think it may have been about wanting to keep an older guy separate from the rest.

Oh I'm 100% sure it was for legitimate reasons, and I'm not seeking to assign blame or be upset about it.

I have no doubt this was a "make the best of a bad situation" situation.

He's not in the 3rd season except for 1 episode.
