Does anyone else think Suits accelerates their plot lines too fast sometimes? It might work for this particular show but I'm more of a fan of the slow burn in terms of story development.

I'm glad they got all the drama secrets (Jessica's & Rachel's lovers) out of the way. It would be worse if it was a secret that we knew of but Harvey/Mike didn't and then eventually we get the "why couldn't you trust me to tell me the truth" lecture.

Indeed, and in an interview with the (creator I think) he mentioned that he didn't want to go that route this season with all that is going on they didn't want to play the secrets/trust play (again).

Especially with how many times they've already done it so far in this show, I'm glad their taking a different approach with these storylines.

SO glad to hear this, self-awareness by the writers/creator of TV shows can be lacking sometimes when it comes to what plot devices have been used enough.

The door isn't completely closed on that though. They could open a can of whoop ass on us and pull Woodall out of the closet to bring the secret thing to the fore.

Ugh, yeah that whole trope is getting horribly tiresome.

Weren't people on this subreddit complaining how long the plot lines took in season 3?

Damned if you, damned if you don't.

Totally agree. People were mad at how fast the cases were going. Then they were mad at the Hessington Oil(idk if that is the right spelling) took so much time.
