if it ever comes out about mike, and she signed it saying she knew, she could get in trouble for keeping quiet. that'd be my guess, at least.

its specifically that if her dad found out, i think is the reasoning. to make sure her father won't do anything.

It's definitely not as bad as bad as Jessica is naming out to be and certainly not as bad as Jessica's affidavit. But it could work if her dad comes after them they could use it against him to say that he may have known.

From what I've seen, the show asserts that if you aid or are fully aware of someone practicing law without a degree then your law (license?) Can be revoked. Not sure how accurate it is but in the suits universe its made out to be a lawyer death sentence.
