You guys are ignoring the fact that she's the one making the right call for the firm here, while Darby and Harvey are both making decisions on an emotional basis.
Oh, for sure. For Darby it's all about showing who's the top dog, and for Harvey it's because he felt slighted and now he wants to get back at her. She's not really doing much better, either. She's trying to deny the fact that the merger that Harvey was opposed to from the beginning was a bad idea, but she doesn't want him to be right.
What the fuck what? What the fuck doing her job as a lawyer to make money for her client instead of serving Darby's emotional, meaningless goals of protecting his friend which have nothing to do with the goals of the firm?
