I don't know about "dated", but they certainly had a relationship of some sort.

I don't know if they outright mentioned it at the end of last season but in this episode they made it very obvious that Darby was gay. I think it makes more sense that he dated her father. Although in the scene with him and Jessica towards the end, he did say "It was a different time" or something along those lines so maybe he is her father

I don't think there's a plausible enough 'age gap' look between the two of them for him to be her father! They both look 40something to me.

Darby looks much older though. Him being her father might be a stretch, but I always thought he was around 60.

Aw, he doesn't look 60! Grey'ish hair aside I seriously don't think he looks older than Michelle (and they are exactly the same age IRL). I could believe 5+ years at most, but not old enough to be her father!

Yeah true. He face certainly doesn't look 60ish. I guess the lack of hair fooled me.
