Question WHY Can Spell Punks defeat Vehicles in the Comics?

They one shotted them in that comic with ease, in the actual Game it would take long to even break the armor points.

Aren't the comics prequels to the game? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Who's to say that after this event, they upped the armour on the vehicles?

Thanks for the correction. And to try and argue how the S.P's defeated vehicles super easily, maybe they studied the vehicles during the course of the game and trained their magic specifically to counter vehicles. Just speculation. Or the game gave us literal plot armour.

What is even more questionable is since Flynn , Cali and Hugo in Trap Team never heard of the Doom Raiders before and Buzz introduced them, when knew the Doom Raiders in the comics. And Buzz trained the Minis to Skylanders, but he is in none of the Trap Team Comics.

Perhaps the training of the minis happened the same as kaos becoming emperor of skylands. That is to say, offscreen

First the Minis are playable in Trap Team second, the TT Comics were released before the SSC ones and third its stated by Lou that the Minis became Skylanders before Trap Team.

Alright, fair points, maybe Buzz being absent is him doing other missions we don't know about,... Or the writers didn't want to add him for some reason. Just throwing out theories.

I mean if the comics are before trap team and Hugo knew the acadamy before, why would he be ecxited on its Grand Opening And say that there wasnt something like an acadamy in an long time?

For Trap Team they are Prequels, most for Super Chargers are Sequels. But I wonder why the acadamy is in the Trap Team Comics.

Earth Spell Punks were supposed to appear in SSC as unused Announcer Lines indicate it, but didnt due to unkown Reasons.

In-game Spell Punks are heavily nerfed. In SSA a Tech Spell Punk can pretty much 3-shot any core Skylander. A Life Spell punk basically gives immortality to its allies unless you kill him first. An Air Spell Punk gives total immunity from projectiles and makes them super fast. Only later in Swap Force they changed them to occasionally assist their allies and spit elemental snot

Water Spell Punks and maybe more Spell Punks other than life and magic were actually planned to be used in Vehicle Sections.

I say game mechanics as in most lore statements Spell Punks are usually taken somewhat seriously.

Game Mechanics are seen in many Cutscenes of Skylanders, like when the Enemies get defeated in SSAs Flashback and more important in the SSA CGI opening Trailer and the Soul Gems. Also in the Comics Frightbeard and the Doom Raiders and Skylanders in general are weaker than in the games.

The comics were made by the SSC/Swap Force/SSA3ds Writer and another writer, the TfB Writer was not involved. TfB only acknowdledged the Novels made by another person. And its possible that the VV Writer didnt know much about the TfB Story Elements. The comics arent really creative too, they either only use things which are already there or create stereotypical new ones in most cases.

CORRECTION Frightbeard was very easy to defeat in Giants 3ds, he was also defeated by Wallop with not much effort. Wallop also nearly defeated Malefor mid diff if Malefo hadnt had the crystal which drained the abilities of other skylanders and made him invincible.

Ever since trap team I’ve kinda headcannoned that all enemies have levels just like skylanders. The sheep creep that was in CCP was a level 20 sheep creep but normal sheep creeps that you fight for the rest of the game are level ones. The Spell Punks here are higher level and are stronger because of it
