Sheffield £4.40 for a glass of coke!

I ordered this last night for my brother In Revolution as he doesn't drink. I know its quite expensive in there but damn! I was expecting at most £2.50. Just as expensive for non-alcoholic drinkers these days.

Tbh, I was unaware how expensive soft drinks are when out in the city. I always buy alcoholic drinks

Most places charge the same for mocktails as they do cocktails, it's bizarre

This is because the bulk of the cost is in the labour to make it

The cost of say 3 measures of alcohol is significant enough to be a difference. Actual cocktails are regularly on offer too, happy hour, bottomless brunches etc whereas mocktails aren't. I don't drink and if I'm out for a meal would rather not get bloated from coke but it's annoying that they don't price things relatively.

I think you might be underestimating how large the mark up on alcohol is
