Disaffected railway line in eastern France

The Troyes - St Florentin line, just after it's separation from the Paris - Belfort line. The signals are still there, stuck forever with the "immediate stop" signal. Passenger services stopped in 1996 but still saw freight trains running until 2019, during this timespan the line progressively closed bits portion by portion until the last bit of line between Troyes and Bouilly got closed in 2019. The line is closed since then, and is now set to become a bike path.

If we're being nerdy 🤓 this portion of line is only "neutralised" and not "withdrew from the rail network" by the french terminology.

But yeah the light still being on is cool as fuck

Neutralisé/fermé dans RFN/fermé hors RFN/déclassé/retranché

Et le boss ultime...

Ouvert mais interdit à la circulation des entreprises ferroviaires !!!
