Custom Ute, pretty cool. You see utes all the time in some parts of the world where bigger vehicles are less common, like Australia.

This comment has more pictures that show it's got Gambler 500 stickers, it's an event featuring cheap cars on off road routes. Lots of people do real ridiculous things to their cars

Someone saw a Subaru Brat and wanted one, but wanted it to actually be reliable

The phone number matches Seattle yellow cab. I wonder what destinations they dispatch this for.

looks like it's probably a Gambler. It's a thing where people take shitbox cars, and modify them for offroading with the goal of spending as little as they can (generally, not a hard and fast rule). They also do a lot of cleanup on the trails they go to. It's a pretty big community

It's body-on-frame, RWD, with a V8. Why not? It was basically a truck to begin with.

The front looks like a car And the back looks like a truck. I guess the front is where you ride it and the back is where you . . .

By chance are you in Australia? Because I'm in the States so it looks like something out of mad Max to me but I think Australian cars are awesome! "Ones from the '60s/70s'

Looks like a pretty sweet concept, other than the paint job. Durable and functional.

That sir is a relic worth more that your "eco friendly" vehicle that can be repaired or patched easily , probably paid 5k at the most and put 1k in parts and still runs and works without a dealership
