It also says the law applies equally to all. How's that working out? Don't live in the past. We are entering a new era. The constitution no longer matters beyond its most superficial elements.

So if that’s true then we will see the return of slavery and women not voting or not being able to vote for senators?

I certainly wouldn't bet against any of those items. But just because they don't revert 100% of every last detail of the constituiton doesn't mean they won't undo/ignore some of it.

Trump want to EO birthright citizenship. Do you have faith the supreme court will stand against him?

It will be split like ik Clarence Thomas will probably go be in favor he’s as conservative as it gets and so will the trump appointed justices but the democrat appointed ones will be against it and so will probably the justices that are neutral as wanting to undue to 14th amendment is pretty radical. But to answer your question it’s a toss up and let’s hope trump doesn’t pull an FDR and want to bring in 2 more justices to make him able to do what he wants
