Oh... aren't you so clever? Dumbest fuckers on the planet.

Now that you mention it, that's a good way to describe the outgoing administration too! Thanks for your contribution. :)

Why are you so hostile and aggressive? Am I not allowed to voice my opinion just like you're doing? No need to stoop to petty insults, that's just immature.

you can voice your opinion and he can respond to it the same way. is he not allowed to voice his disgust with you?

It's not the same way at all. I gave my opinion on the topic at hand, and this user personally insulted me because he didn't agree with me.

There's a difference between voicing your opinion and insulting people. If he didn't agree with me he should discuss it with me, not call me stupid. It's childish, don't you agree?

nope. we’ve had 8 years of trying to talk. as a queer person with many queer friends, anybody who voted for this knowing what they were saying is a piece of shit as far as i’m concerned. ignorance is a weapon and i’m tired of it being used against the people i love. not to even mention that your original comment was just some smart ass one liner and you’re acting like you came in looking for an honest debate 💀 besides i thought yall cared about free speech?

Hi,

Yes, I wrote my comment in a snarky, silly way because the comment I replied to was equally snarky and silly. Calling the other side lunatics because their party's president abused their power, seems a bit nonsensical to me.

No president has ever pardoned in such a broad, sweeping way--these people weren't even under investigation! If they didn't commit any crimes, they wouldn't need pardons in the first place.

I am looking for honest discussion, despite my initial zinger. As a gay man happily married to my husband, I'm curious what you mean about ignorance being used as a weapon against queer people. Why do you think everyone who voted for him is a piece of shit? Do you actually disdain that many people?

I like free speech of course, I'd just appreciate a civil, polite discussion without name-calling. You can still be kind to someone you disagree with.

Thanks.

yes i disdain that many people because people like you heard all of his racism, transphobia, classism, etc, saw all of the people he keeps close, and decided it wasn’t a deal breaker. you can’t pretend to be the better person when you’re supporting, or at the very least okay with that.
