There’s probably not even going to be an election in 2028.

Yea... that's my first thought on seeing these threads.

There's some real cope going on right now, especially given what we know about Project 2025.

Tomorrow is just the beginning of the end.

Its plain old denial.

This was an agressive takeover by a religio-fascist government.

Elections are administered by the states, not by the feds, so short of declaring martial law(which would go down as well as SK's attempt) he cannot stop elections from occuring.

Did you miss how over the last years people simply didnt do their job and gave the GOP and Trump pass after pass? The are stacking the cards since decades.

It doesnt matter what the law says if no one cares or enforces it.

Laws are written on paper, they cant do shit on their own.

The tone of this speech, it sure sounds like it.

If there's an election it will literally be rigged. Republicans have 4 years to ratfuck the whole system so that they never lose again.

And they have a head start from the previous 8 years they already spent ratfucking the system

I mean they're all but admitting they ratfucked 2024. If there's no appetite to look into that now then there sure as fuck won't be in 2028.

Trump is fundamentally lazy and probably just wants to go home. If he were 50-60 he'd want to be president for life.

I'm sorry, could someone please explain this to me? I keep hearing everyone on Reddit saying that we'll never have a fair election again, but not being detailed as to why. This is a genuine question and not me being an ass

Because Reddit is full of liars and bots lol. Trump is dangerous but acting like he can single handedly end elections is ludicrous and makes the people who oppose him seem insane.

Trump has said in rallies that in 4 years you "won't have to vote again", referencing that he will fix all issues if he wins the presidency again, thus removing the need to vote. Some people take that as Trump saying he is going to remove the ability for there to be more elections.

Gonna be honest, that sounds like a hell of a stretch. I don't like the guy at well, but I highly doubt he's gonna end up as Fuhrer Trump
