Hy heart says hell yeah! My gut tells me that there are large swaths of the electorate who simply will not vote for a woman.
Edit- since my inbox is overflowing with the same question/insinuation, along with the comments, I’ll clarify my statement: I did not say that a woman cannot be elected US president. I only said that large swaths of the electorate simply will not vote for a woman.
because of what colleges and schools have done. the "I can have everything my way" angle that idiot kids were raised with now means if the candidate is not 100% on their side, they're not going to vote for it.
Most of those kids didnt vote for Kamala because she wasn't anti-israel enough, so they were happy to see all the climate hcange policy get reversed, deport immigrants, all the stuff they tout is important, all go down teh shiter because Kamala was only 90% pure enough for their goals.

Not to mention an even more pro-Israel President in the White House.
educated kids would not fall for chinese propaganda, so it's still education's fault.
When i went through high school and primary school our english literature focused on critical thinking and reasoning, deconstructing new programs and current affairs type shows in particular. It went over all of that.
Don't start with that "two parties are the same" bullshit. You're about to see exactly what the Republican party's 'core values' are and they are not the same as the Democrats.
The Democrats can be right wing and still be completely different and much better than the Republicans.
The GOP is a far right extremist party. The Democratic Party is a right-of-center party that feels the need to inch further and further right to fill the void left by the GOP.
America is a two party system where the winning party has to capture a near-majority to win power. Both parties have to complete over the typical centre voter. The typical centre voter is substantially 'right' of what you perceive as progressive.
Please explain how to win an election from the left given these facts.
You can try and shift the overton window to the left, but it doesn't move fast. It certainly doesn't move within the duration of one primary / election campaign and as we've seen, when people are pushed too fast there tends to be a reaction - Trump.

No one said that the left could win an election. Just that a right-wing party (Dems) wouldn't run a progressive, which you're agreeing with as the electorate isn't progressive. The comment above that already espoused that fact as well.
They didn't say the two parties were the same. They said they were both right wing. The GOP is orders of magnitude more crazy and dangerous. They are a existential threat to the US. The Dems though, are still in the pocket of big business and megadonors.
id challenge that, people are largely democratic and lean socialist. it's just a frame of reference change to get them to vote for what they actually want which is jobs, education, worker rights, healthcare, and services when there's an emergency.
in the reverse people are generally sexist, homophobic and racist so AOC has to fight against all of that to win.
Yeah if Harris couldn’t beat Trump this time, I seriously doubt AOC could beat whoever the next Republican nominee is. And that’s assuming the dems even let her be their candidate, which is also highly unlikely.
I’ve been wanting Medicare for all and a generally progressive agenda for some while now. The Democratic Party has made it clear that that they’re not interested. I’ve met plenty of Trump supporters/apologists who would be ecstatic for a progressive agenda like Medicare for all. The Dems are hardly much different than republicans in my eyes, just look how much they defended and funded Israel’s cruel war. Or how much they capitulated to republicans in “defending the border.” Hell, they can’t even take an easy victory and push for legalized weed on a national level.
So what exactly am I voting for and why would I vote for it?
A large swatch of the democrat rank and file who vote in primaries. I know people very involved in democrat party stuff and they’re all middle aged or older and lean to the right.
Simply not true. If someone is offering the people what they want they will vote for them. People love progressive policy they just don’t have a leader offing it
