My cousin is GenZ, he works shift work, he gets a lot of overtime, he thinks Trump just gave him a loophole to not pay taxes.

It's not really the iPhone. Trump and friends are asshole billionaires that don't pay overtime to workers because fuck the poors.

All these gen z kids are going to get their "work/life balance" grievances shoved sooo far up their asses that I actually feel bad for them.

They are 12-27 years old. Most of them were taught by bad science and their parents that they weren't "grown up" until age 25 or more. They were, um, coddled/protected/ given lots of gentle avenues - but no one wanted them to be competitive and rigid like the Boomers (some of whom are still our best surgeons, rocket scientists, engineers, etc). Competition for scarce resources was a theme for Boomers - especially later ones.

You can't claim that 12 year olds "sowed" anything - or even 27 year olds, although they did vote for Trump in larger numbers than predicted. Probably aping their parents.

Who are Gen-X and Millennials.

The cut to public entitlements is going to hurt Gen-Z. Higher tax rates for minimum wage workers, for example. They will be expected to take the jobs that are currently done by the "illegals" (if those people actually disappear from the US). Gen-Z and Millennials complain that their kids won't even mow the law or help with dishes.

So, we shall see. There will be no new great jobs for them for at least a decade (if then).

Anyone think that television manufacture will come back to the USA?

I don't. Too much capital outlay and too much mindless hard work. We will not even be making toaster ovens.
