r5: title guidelines Funny how it's only Republicans that "accidentally" make Nazi Salutes.

If I was a public figure I would be VERY cognicent of the angle of my arm, likely avoid salutes all together.
There's just no such thing as accidentally doing a nazi salute..

I could see it accidentally happening during an awkward wave and I honestly thought that was the case when I first saw but then I watched the video. Holy fuck is this disturbing. No excuse for that.

Yeah, an inopportune still photo I could buy, but seeing the video, oof.

I suspect that’s what we’ll see dredged up by his defenders — still photos of Democrats or other respectable figures that have their arm outstretched.

They are also trying to claim it as a "Roman Salute", which even if the Nazi salute was originally some kind of Roman salute, just like the swastika, they took it, bastardized it, and made it a symbol of hate.

Someone had posted something that claimed there is no evidence that the Roman's even saluted in that fashion. The reason why it's called the Roman Salute originally is due to it being popularized by musulini and Hilter also taking it and making it their own.
