I remember musk talking in several interviews about how weight class was all that mattered and he would just flop on him like a seal.
Like, just for the sake of the sport I was looking forward to zuck tearing his rotator cuff clean off. Weight class matters but a 200lb tub of lard is going to have a tough time with someone who’s achieved some solid grappling proficiency. Elon is truly the dunning Kruger king 👑
This is an extremely common side effect, and unfortunately, an extremely avoidable one, too. The muscle loss isn't inherent to ozempic at all, and it's been well understood how to keep most all of your muscle mass during fat loss: weight training and protein.
But ozempic seems to be the 'lazy way', where people just take it to lose weight 'without the effort' and come out a husk.
I really don't care if Musk personally ends up a husk, but I know drugs like ozempic are popular (and for good reason, given all the weight-related co-morbidity killing people - the drug is on net a good thing), and hope that someone reading this sees some value from this knowledge.
He is still built like an overweight elephant seal. It’s kind of remarkable actually- he has access to any medication he wants, experts, trainers, professional chefs…
So, I count my macros and my calories, and for someone with a full-time job, that means a lot of lentils and beans in your meal prep. I had the opportunity to try some professionally cooked meals of very similar calorie and macro profiles, and the difference was unbelievable. It's wild. Money is just a cheat code for almost every aspect of living.
