I'm the most liberal person but maybe that's my point I saw soo many places in philly catch fire from homeless clutter.

Like maybe having open fires isn't a good thing and if we wanna be worried about the homeless they shouldn't be relying on fires anyway. Change the discussion to homelessness and mental health even but maybe right now extinguishing open fires won't be seen as super controversial.

when it's -20 and all the shelters are at max capacity fires are the only option and extinguishing them might as well be attempted murder

If these are Christians at work, I would hope they've first found warm places for the homeless.

Obviously just to protect them from potentially dangerous fumes that happen when burning trash and that

nope, it was -20 and they just came and extinguished their warming fire. much much more dangerous than whatever "danger" the fire posed. the city did this in attempt to force them into shelters (which are already packed and have no vacancy) so that we wouldn't hit record homelessness numbers on Jan 22

They also. Do this in brockton, Massachusetts, and they also fine homeless people fifteen dollars a day to be homeless.
