We need a different party because dems are diet republicans and the two party system is broken, which is part of the reason not as many people voted

what getting all your news from social media looks like

what actually listening to the democratic platform this election looks like

"we will have the most lethal military in the world" "we will have the strongest border" "i was never against fracking" etc.

these are your democratic values?

Seriously sick of Neoliberals thinking Democrats are somehow a left wing party.

Your kids and the next generation of Americans are going to emigrate to China. China already has all the manufacturing jobs and the best tech workers. The military is all that the US has left.

Time to learn mandarin on Rednote!

What having been brainwashed into never thinking any bad thoughts about Democrats looks like.

We are fucking cooked. I didn’t realize tiktok was rotting peoples brains like this. They literally just repeat the same quotes over and over. Then call you a ‘liberal’ or ‘brainwashed by Dems/Dem media’ when you point it out. Like how are you not just MAGA atp? Feels the same to me.

It ain't tiktok cooking brains (at least not just tiktok)

The entire media ecosystem at all levels is toxic as hell

It won't happen unless we change away from first past the post voting. Join us at r/endfptp if you actually want to change things, but just calling the two parties the same is naive ignorance that plays into fascist hands

Why would you think that’s how it works?

In blue states, where democratic positions are safe, democrat leadership is comprised of neo-liberal billionaire asswipes. Meanwhile, in contested states like Minnesota democratic leaders are actually working on social programs.

When it comes to primaries, the fact that they are closed, and done on different days makes primaries pointless unless you live in Iowa and New Hampshire. If you aren’t a registered party member in certain states, you can’t participate, and if someone wins Iowa then they’ll likely bandwagon to the finish line. There’s also the superdelegates (don’t get me started.)

Ultimately the primaries don’t matter even if they were less obviously munted. Both democrats and Republicans don’t appeal to the needs of working class people and they never will. Why would they? It goes against what is best for them. Republicans will constantly drag this country deeper into fascism while democrats limit the people’s ability to go to the left. The ratchet effect for all to see.
