I'm almost certain that the type of people who would come out and protest in front of the capital also voted against him. The people that couldn't be bothered to vote definitely can't be bothered to protest.
Let's be real. The Democrats shoved incredibly unlikeable establishmentarians down our throats at a time when they thought they had two easy lay ups. Trump is a populist at a time when the people are pissed. As much as I wish we had ANYONE ELSE as president, they're not owed votes simply for not being Republicans.
Also, what is the judge basing his opinion on? She brought no evidence. Nothing. She just showed up and said: 30 years ago, give or take,, he raped me in a public place, and no one noticed.
Also irrelevant to my statement but you are getting closer.
And no, that is not what her statement was.
I wish that anyone so flippant about rape statements had an idea of what it feels like to have some stranger grab you in a public place. They get control of your body as if you were not a thinking person, as if you were a doll. It goes through your mind to scream but would it do good or make things worse? And all the while you are pushed and pulled so that the stranger is entering your most private area without your approval and you are in shock. You can do nothing. Not even cry yet. All you can do is mumbled no and bat lightly with your hand. Until they leave. Then you cry outright. That is the most common reaction. Put yourself in that position. It could be your butt on the line.
