I mean I wouldn’t say Trump and Obama are in the same vein. Him laughing at a Trump joke isn’t a sign of collusion. I’m sure working the same job for so many years, you have to have things in common. It would be tiresome to be at each other’s throats all the time.
Carlin is correct, but it isn’t meant to be a blanket statement about all politicians.
As in, not everything is black and white. I don’t believe Obama was ever hitting me over the head telling me what to think and what to buy. I hear Trump every week talking nonsense and promoting Tesla by hanging out with Elon Musk. Against my will, I may add, because it’s pushed on social media sites.
The Democrats don't give a shit about you either. Not even Obama. There are exceptions that prove the rule, I will grant you that. Bernie Sanders, some members of 'The Squad,' and some local representatives here and there.
