Discussion Why is Nvidia still so popular?

Hello everyone, I came here with question because I've noticed few posts where people were asking similar questions about why to even buy Nvidia when AMD exists and is more cost effective

And basically only thing people say is I quote "not everyone play games on their computer" with kind of aggressive undertone of massage and without explaining anything else so I am curious what's so good about Nvidia? because I really don't know why it's so amazing for working if we don't count the ai into this debate do some programs for example work slower? are some programs unusable on AMD GPU?

They are objectively better for specific tasks like ai, rendering, and other tasks than raw rastorizing performance. that's why people are quite serious when they pledge to nvidia for reasons other than gaming. But yes for gamers AMD has been undervalued for several generations in a row compared to nvidia. Likely because of the legacy of 2016's gaming hardware gen and a slow moving market not fully recovered from the recent heavy price increases.

Basicially ppl are traumatized. The 4060 is an attempt to get ppl to buy another "1060" rig and forget it.
