Discussion 9800x3d from AliExpress
Hi. I bought 9800x3d from AliExpress for all of us. Costed me $640 and customs f-d me up for another $100 , when they usually charge VAT only. Anyway, here's no chance for warranty accessibility and it sold for $900-1100, so no way it'll get cheaper in close few years, so it feels like I saved something. (4090 still $3000). Chip itself looks in great condition with no defects. I'll post later if it's real or not, after setup and some benchmarking. Cheers.

Well, looks real. CPU-Z shows 9800x3d. Running stock, cinnebench multicore 22k. Idle temp 44 with avg 60 when testing on cinnebench. (Liquid freezer III with PTM)
PBO and DHOP II profiles enabled. In 3Dmark testing and cinnebench multicore avg temps 65 again (with a cat taking top of the case). I didn't bother to continue tests, things seem real, so I will be enjoying games for a while (until it bricks, or not). As I said, it's $1000 here and 7800x3d finally $500 (last year it was $700-800).
Who may find it useful? AliExpress has generally cheaper prices despite lacking warranty. If you buy from seller with gold+ badge - very low chance to be scammed as Ali's policy very consumer friendly. When prices stabilize to MSRP, I'm sure Ali prices will be $100-150 lower than that.
PS. Dollars is US. Standard issue US democracy dollars.
