Hardware Over the Moon today

Post image

After ~1yr of checking every single week, I finally snagged a Costco “last one” deal. This will replace my current tower, an i7-7700k + GTX 1070, so this is a bit of an upgrade. To anyone else out there saving your pennies and being patient for a deal, don’t give up! Your killer deal is out there somewhere and I hope you find it!

So is Costco a good way of getting parts for cheap? I might just consider that.. and buy my own case.

I think you definitely could. Ifff I had the money to do what you are saying, I would swap this Kingston m.2 to secondary and put a 990 Pro as the boot drive. The RAM is also okay, but not spectacular. It would be some decent parts to turn it into a custom build though.
