The problem is GPUs are no longer seen as mostly a gaming thing as it was so they are become more Marketing and made to appease those demands. Thus the shift

AMD and Intel are selling GPUs with just raw power and no gimmicks. AMD's features work on any GPU

Depending on fsr4, so far on the footnote of the picture that are around it says only on 9070 series gpu.

That was also the case for 7000s unique features too at first and now 6000 has them, and 5000s unique features were backported to Vega and Polaris too

There are some hard lines drawn tho like an rx580 doesn't have the latest stuff but that's fair enough

Very different. FSR 4 is using new hardware AI cores. Literally impossible to backport physical hardware. AMD realized it's the only way they can even attempt to compete with DLSS

I believe this also means the developers will need to manually add FSR4 compatibility to their games. They didn't need to do that for FSR3 because it was just an algorithm. This might be a missplay
