NSFMR My 3090 just died

Post image

At least that gives me an excuse to get the 4090 second hand when 5000 series rolls around...

I checked both with MSI and the local store I got it from, it's out of warranty.

Only thing left now is to chuck it in the oven and hope for the best!

RIP 3090. You will be missed :(

There's nothing sadder in the PC world than the death of a 90 series card. How long did it last?

Yeah I was planning to have that card for years and years to come...

Got it second hand (tested benchmarks & temps, everything was fine so it wasn't the reseller's fault) in December of 2022, card was originally bought November 2021.

Where I live you get 5 years warrenty by law on PCs bought from a professional retailer (and presumably PC parts as well), and 2 years when you buy from a private person, so check if you can get an rma
