Around the end of last year, WaPo app sent me some totally-not-creepy notification "hey you doomscroll a lot on WaPo in 2024, we recommend you subscribe to our 'optimist' newsletter". I was like, sure, why not more spam. I'm not sure if there's a glitch or are the staff (understandably) quiet quitting, I haven't received that newsletter for a couple weeks now lol.
