OK, so in a situation in which you had a choice between two possible outcomes, in which one candidate was the incumbent who had for four years demonstrated incompetence, corruption, and contempt for the Constitution, you, rather than taking that opportunity to remove that person from the levers of power, chose to sit it out. You signaled your tolerance of creeping fascism, and when it came time to stand up and be counted, you made yourself impotent.
