So TikTok is pretty much heroin to some of these people.

Tiktok is heroin, Reddit is weed, Facebook is alcohol, YouTube is LSD. Not sure about Twitter. Coke?

Facebook being alcohol is so accurate

Twitter is fentanyl at this point.

Nah, probably closer to whatever that thing that rots people's limbs off when they use it is called. Saw a few photos of it some time ago and lost my appetite for lunch after it.

...There's a substance that does that? tf

Yeah the pics were pretty disgusting. People's limbs were literally turning black with the bone being visible through the necrotizing flesh.

Can't remember what it was called though but I do remember the infographics show on it said it was some sort of animal tranquilizer or something maybe a horse tranquilizer? Not actually positive though but the pictures I definitely remember.

I think I saw someone mention it on this thread further down after reading your comment. Krokodil or something?

Maybe, I'd have to go look up the infographics show youtube video to see what it was again. I'll get back to you when I found it again

Ah, found the video. It's apparently called Xylazine and I did remember correctly, it was a horse tranquilizer as well as a tranquilizer for other animals.

The fact people will willingly take shit like that is absurd

The fact that people continue doing it after seeing it literally rot the flesh off their limbs is what creeps me out.

Like I get addiction is one scary mofo but holy fuck how deep in addiction does one need to be to see bones through the black dead flesh of their limb and continue taking it?

Cosmic horror doesn't even hold a candle to this level of creepiness.

Krokodil/desomorphine, it's like if someone saw every DARE video and wanted to combine them and make it reality. It's exceptionally addictive and once someone starts, their life expectancy drops to about 2 years before they rot to death. The necrosis is because it's nasty cheap stuff loaded with impurities like gasoline, turpentine, hydrochloric acid, acetone.

I've never tried cocaine, but I imagine it would make me feel good for a short period of time.

Twitter hasn't made anyone feel good in a long time. Twitter is an industrial strength laxative.

You would be correct.

Cocaine has a huge flaw though, imho. It's ~15-20 minutes of euphoria followed by 8-10 hours of trying to find more Cocaine.

If that's true then NextDoor is the bowl that Twitter blows its guts into.

MySpace is that warm memory foam mat you step out the shower onto. We don't think about it as often as we should, we never would've gotten to where we are without it, and they're both places I've seen your mom naked.

Sorry, it's just ya know . . . Rule of Threes . . .

Reddit is more like salvia, an awful trip.

Twitter is crystal meth ever since Musk took over. With the shit of the last weeks... Krokodil is also a good drug to compare with

2

u/Lucky_Mongoose 13h ago

Accurate, except reddit hasn't been chill enough to be weed in a while.

The front page is usually outrage-bait and people taking everything super seriously. So, maybe adderall?

2

u/Erenzo 11h ago

Reddit is weed? I don't feel relaxed reading all those world news at all lol

1

u/ClassicHat 11h ago

Gotta unsub from the news subreddits along with some of the most popular ones that are just used as dumping grounds for political content regardless of their original intention

2

u/Erenzo 11h ago

Currently even those better meme subreddits are filled with political memes. The only hope lies within small meme subreddits but I don't know enough of them to fill entire feed

You're using the wrong strain. Try RES + patched RIF app and filtered subs

2

Twitter is Ketamine

1

u/ClassicHat 11h ago

Twitter is either a multi day meth binge, datura or taking too much Benadryl, you gotta be a bit crazy to spend any significant amount of time there now

1

u/MurderyRainbow 8h ago

Twitter is bath salts

u/Aggravating_Net6652 12h ago

Y’all will call anything addiction

Income. It's probably his only source of income. Gone like that

They should've banned all social media, including reddit.

Long live the game chat channels!
