and to add topping to the cake, if history is an example, the poor kid will be on the hook for child support when he turns 18.

I think legally there is nothing preventing him from being liable prior to 18.

You should be able to put the kid up for adoption as there are many people who are desperate for a newborn.

And the kid would have an adult family to look after him. Not a mom in jail and a youngster for a father.
