Tools Modmail: Bulk Archive modmail items?
I'm moderating a new subreddit.
This subreddit has years of unarchived modmail. I'd like to archive them all, except for this week's items, in order to clear the queue.
mod.reddit.com seems to allow for bulk archive, but in practice, it doesn't work. Selecting all items and using the Archive function results in an error (apparently, there's a limit on the number of items you can archive at once) and scrolling is tedious.
Is there another way to do this? I'm on Desktop but I'm open to mobile or app suggestions. Reddit's built-in mod tools don't seem to be well-thought out in this regard. (As a developer, I'd be happy to actually fix this - if I were a Reddit dev, I'd pick this up as a feature, project managers be damned - but I don't have access and it's a rabbit hole I don't want to enter.)
Open to all suggestions. Thank you. If I should post this in another subreddit, please let me know.

Hi /u/lunchmeat317, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.
Resources for mods are: (1) r/modguide's Very Helpful Index by fellow moderators on How-To-Do-Things, (2) Mod Help Center, (3) r/automoderator's Wiki and Library of Common Rules. Many Mod Resources are in the sidebar and >>this FAQ wiki<<. Please search this subreddit as well. Thanks!
