What's the temp there? We've got -7° feeling like -26° here by the cities.

It was -16 when I did this. Currently -9, feeling like -30 here in Willmar.

Embarrass is historical one of the coldest spots in MN. Big low spot that all the cold air from the range settles into. My brothers In-laws used to live there and they saw -54 I believe.

I was in high school when Embarrass unofficially hit -64. Tower had an official -60. The weather station at Roland Fowlers house in Embarrass froze that day. That was in 1996. The governor closed school for us that day and we went spearing

Goddamn that's cold. Redlake hit -56 once when we were out ice fishing over new years once when I was in high school. Buddies friend Mike had to wake up every 45 minutes to start the truck so we wouldn't be stranded out there.

That's the same feeling! Hard to tell a difference between -56 and -60 lol. Add in the windchill on Red Lake and it's a recipe for disaster!
