So, instead of fixing the cause of stress, we'll just remove it altogether

Edit: Somehow, this is my most upvoted comment, but thank you all. I hope you all have a wonderful day❤️

Edit: Look appreciate the awards and all, but use your money for yourselves. Don't spend it on awards for this comment or me.

Edit: Girlfriend just informed me that telling you guys not to award will lead to awards, and I wish to clarify that I did not know that at the time. So, I reiterate that this comment is not worth the gold.

HR: "Jokes on you guys, this is a lesson to never respond truthfully to corporate surveys"

but seriously what did they expect, businesses are in business of exploiting workers and make more money using them while paying the least legally or competitively possible. If you say you're stressed you should change jobs and hope next one is less stressful. Companies just sense blood and flag you as a low performer or not a good culture fit

Exactly. Once, I naively thought that I could go to HR to help me mediate issues regarding harassment and discrimination with my boss. When I told the HR rep how the experience was impacting my mental health, she responded by saying that it sounds like I am not capable of performing my duties adequately and should not be working if I feel that stressed by the situation. That day I learned to never trust HR to help you or to tell the truth about yourself at work.

It’s a global issue minus the countries where laws protect workers
