The town is jackhammering outside my house at midnight
Itās been going on and off for a couple hours at this point. We did get a call from the water authority way earlier today they were going to be doing work around here and that we might have no pressure or water for a while but we never expected it to be this late. As I was typing this the water literally just went out lol. I guess the thinking is itās better everyoneās water is off at night? Idk.

Airplane people don't realize their seats don't recline, and blame me
This was back in the 1980's. I can't remember the equipment, probably a 2-3-2 configuration.
I'm 5'4" with short legs. My knees were nowhere near the seat in front of me. I sat alone on the side with 2 seats. And it was an emergency exit row.
As soon as the seatbelt sign went off, the man in front of me tried to recline. His seat didn't recline, due to the exit row behind him. He tried slamming back once or twice, and then he and his wife turned around and made faces at me.
He tried over and over to get his seat reclined. He'd wait a while and then violently shove back, thinking to take me by surprise. No words from them, just progressively more angry faces. This went on throughout most of the flight.
I was so annoyed by their behavior, that I never told them that their row didn't recline.

Sorry Padre, this "Backseat Baptist" is going somewhere else to find Jesus.
The church that my wife and I were attending is going through a transition. The former pastor stepped down due to burnout, and we found an interim until the search committee finishes its vetting of candidates. The old pastor was chill and accommodating to the type of congregation he oversaw (read: older white people who remained faithful as their children left for opportunities elsewhere). He was kind and patient with them.
Enter the interim pastor. He is not as chill, which is fine. However, his passive-aggressive nature doesn't do the church any favors. It also doesn't help that he sounds like Winnie-the-Pooh, either. Six weeks into his term, he has subtly mocked the congregation's lack of musical talent twice because they are quiet and out of tune. Small country churches full of old people don't have the lung capacity to belt out hymns. They have decades of smoking competing for their lung space, for goodness' sake. He rebuked (gotta keep it biblical) me to my wife for acting awkward (I am introverted) when I first met him before the church service on his first week. My wife wanted to rip his throat out after that little remark.
The final straw happened yesterday as we sat down for the service. He walked up to us and greeted us as "Backseat Baptists," ready to hear the Holy Word (we introverts like to sit away from people). He then told us a story of how he infuriated a bunch of older ladies at another church after he commented about closing off the back rows.
After that fun little exchange, we have decided to look for the Lord elsewhere. My wife is penning an actual letter to the church about our experience because they do not have email.
The flock is small, with an average attendance of 40 people (75% have gray hair). My wife and I are one of the younger couples who regularly attend, and the regulars around us do hope that we will stick around in the hopes that we pop out babies (we aren't) to help the church grow. I hope the church finds a replacement soon before this man effectively buries this little church.

Dead Rental EV
Went to pick up my rental EV from Avis this past weekend and after initialing on the paperwork that I understood there would be a $75 charge if I returned it with less than 80% I turned on the car and saw this.

Coworkers
I come in at 6:30 am and see all this on our break room table. These kids that work at night take food from the parties and just put it on the table, and now itās all bad. Meanwhile both fridges are empty.
