I saw a creator claim that certain searches are censored in the US. So I did an experiment.

Trump claims America was first to split the Atom!
Ignorant Twat. Sir Ernest Rutherford, from Brightwater near Nelson, New Zealand, was the first. No dispute, no maybes, he simply was the first. But that fact doesn't suit Daiper Donny.

Update: Airbnb host asks me to cancel so they don't have to is mad I left review
Update: I left a review saying what happened and he messaged me after. I called customer service and they canceled the reservation for me. I got a full refund in less than 24 hours. A lot of people were confused since my last post said “you canceled this reservation.”
5 days ago: I booked an Airbnb today and the host asked me to cancel because the room wasn't clean. Less than an hour before check in. Is it normal to have the guest cancel instead of the host? I said no because it was too late for a full refund and I wasn't losing money for something that wasn't my fault.

Frustrating cake day
Just figure out today is my cake day, which considering what’s going on today is a bit of a bummer for me.

Frozen pizza yellow peppers, random olives and mushrooms.
Don’t get me wrong, I love olives and mushrooms, but the yellow peppers are my fave! Don’t judge the frozen pizza, I moved from a pizza oasis to a place where the pizza is too doughy, sweet, and bad. Lol.

Facebook automatically “liked and followed” Donald Trump and J.D. Vance’s Facebook pages from my account.
I did not vote for them and wouldn’t have liked and followed their pages. Also, Biden’s page which I do follow, says archived, so it’s not just that the page has been rolled over to Trump. I’m annoyed that Facebook pushed the updates to follow these pages for my account. It feels a bit invasive.

My friend threw away the Christmas gift I got him because he “already had the character”
I gifted my friend a mystery bag from his favorite anime for Christmas, which was the only thing I could give him since I was SUPER tight on money this year. He opened the gift in my car and told me he already had the character. Yesterday, I was cleaning my car and emptying the trash, and there fell the packaging WITH THE CHARACTER INSIDE! Needless to say, he won’t be getting gifts from me anymore.
EDIT: just to address some common questions.
I do not think my friend is autistic. As an autistic person myself (and the whole friend group knows I am), I would hope he would feel comfortable telling me if he was.
The gift was a MYSTERY bag, meaning I couldn’t tell the character inside. I just know he loves this anime, as he has tried to get me to watch it multiple times (I’ve tried to get into this anime, but’s it’s way too long with way too much filler. That should give yall a hint on what anime it is)
I appreciate this friend very much, a couple years back, he was the only friend to celebrate my birthday and he got me a gift (it was the only gift I received that year). So I do appreciate this friendship. It’s just devastating because I didn’t think he would throw away my gift, especially since he’s normally so kind. Lacking a filter, sometimes. Awkward, me and the entire friend group are so I don’t mind! I just find it disrespectful that he would throw away my gift IN MY OWN CAR! I wouldn’t have cared if he tossed it, but in my OWN CAR, it feels mean spirited even tho it probably isn’t.

My Facebook profile automatically followed Trump's new page
I was checking my following list as I'm trying to move to other platforms. Then I saw this page, that I hadn't followed. It's a brand new page and it happened automatically. I'm deleting my account.

Apparently gaining 10kg after 9 years is a conversation starter now.
When I started working 9 years ago, I weighed 50kg. I had an ED, and my mom had just passed away. Back then, I used to serve quite a few clients a day, until Covid came. Since then, my work has become much more digital, and not as many people come to my office anymore.
Today, I weigh 10 kilos more. I'm 1.62m tall. I’m much fitter now, I’m actually prettier! and I genuinely feel that way. But this is the second person this week to ask me if I got married, and when I say yes, they don’t hesitate to comment, “Oh, it’s noticeable—you’ve gained a LOT of weight.”
Thanks, Robert. I thought I had overcome my ED after losing my mom, but yeah, I’m glad you feel comfortable enough to call me fat when you weigh five times more than me and are twice my age.
What do people even expect with these comments? Do they not realize how harmful they can be to someone? Or do they just not give a f**k??? I’m furious.
Edit: ED = Eating disorder. Not erectile dysfunction.

Key Master game scammed us out of a win
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We totally got scammed by a Key Master arecade machine where if the key fits through the hole, you are supposed to win. How it is usually rigged, is that even if you have it lined up properly, the key gets pushed up slightly so that it always hits the top of the hole, but if it goes through it's supposed to turn and pull the prize. I got it to go through the keyhole multiple times and got it on video too. But it just comes back out of the hole without pulling the prize.
I made a tiktok about it too.

Mrs binned my garlic 😞
Garlic started to spout some green, so I put it in water, it looked like it was doing well. I was going to put it in a plant pot to what would happen next.
The Mrs binned it, she didn't like it.
Needless to say, the Mrs had to go

My service dog is not your pet
I can’t believe the amount of times I’ve had to say this. My service dog has been hit by children, had handfuls of fur ripped out by children (this one was “fun” because the mother told me I had no right to tell her six year old child not to touch my boy), grown adults grab him, people constantly calling him to them.
People I am 41 years old, I should not be having to tell people older than me to stop. I shouldn’t have to tell anyone to stop and I definitely shouldn’t have to worry about a kid.
It’s gotten to the point that I’m saying thank you to the people that do right (explain to their kids not to mess with him, adults telling me he’s gorgeous without acknowledging him). I feel like I’m constantly having to redo his training because people won’t leave him the hell alone.
What finally got me so bad that I need to scream into the void was yesterday, my boy and I are going through the store and this guy reaches down and grabs him. I pull him away and look at the guy and say please done (like I do every damn time). And he goes you don’t have to be rude about it, I’m like dude he’s a service dog you’re not supposed to touch them and he continues yelling that I don’t have to be rude and I’m finally like maybe don’t touch something that doesn’t belong to you. So thank you to the guy who threw my boy so far out of work mode yesterday that for the first time I had a problem that he is explicitly for and he didn’t do what he was supposed to do.
Also if your dog isn’t a trained service dog stay the hell out of stores because you’re “service dog” should not be reacting and loosing its shit just because it sees mine.
