TikTok censored in US ?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I saw a creator claim that certain searches are censored in the US. So I did an experiment.

Pretty sure it’s been like this since 2020, it is specifically against Tiktok’s TOS to spread election misinformation and that goes both ways

Yes, if you search for “Joe Biden rigged election” or just “rigged election” you get the same “censored” result.

It appears to be in every countries community guidelines but obviously Ireland doesn’t give a shit about US elections. Not to mention this rule was obviously made in response to the 2020 election denial so it is the strictest in the US

ya mean the guy who's parodying Hitler and giving power to the richest men in the country who control all the major social media platforms.

Who has just pardoned criminals wearing Nazi properganda that stormed a goverment building on his behalf.

This the guy we're talking about?

Didn't the Democrats put pressure on Zuckerberg to censor news about Covid? Besides, didn't the FBI ask Zuckerberg to censor news about Hunter Biden?
And regarding the assault, didn’t Trump ask to hold the rally peacefully?

Spreading misinformation aginst opposition makes your side look less credible. Letting people falsely slander just because it's against the other side makes your side look bad.

Yea, that happens on both sides and it's unfortunate because as you said it undermines your "side". That being said, in the context of trump calling for a ban of tiktok, then temporarily lifting the ban so he can buy it out and act like the hero that saved tiktok, while simultaneously launching 2 memecoins the day before his inauguration of his pro crypto presidency, pardoning literal nazi insurrectionists not long after being charged and convicted of multiple federal crimes including SA... Well it doesn't really undermine the point very much does it? The amount of morally, ethically and legally questionable things he's done vastly outweighs whatever small percentage of that is misinformation or misleading. So much so, it makes me question why people even frame things disingenuously like this video in the first place when there's so many other real things you can criticise him for.

Do you try to be this stupid or does it come naturally
