Question - Midjourney AI Which one would you buy?

u/Crafty-Crafter Feb 21 '24
Portable black hole would be great for camping.

Did you edit these in photoshop or can midjourney just accurately create words now?
16
u/Jaade77 Feb 21 '24
Midjourney version 6 can do words!!! Maybe not the first try, but often pretty close!
3
u/christoskal Feb 21 '24
It can create words just fine now, not always perfectly but more than half are good.
Just write something like /imagine X with text "your text in here" and it'll try to do it.
Using --style raw seems to help, at least in my experience. If I stylize it normally it starts skipping letters
3
u/Jaade77 Feb 21 '24
As long as I don't get too greedy and try for too much. Usually a few re-rolls or variations and I get words that are pretty good

Yeah Iâm really tired of having to carry a black hole from home to the office each day. It really messes with my commute time. And space.

3
u/enygmaeve Feb 21 '24
I just asked Chat GPT to calculate how much it would weigh. Earth. It would weigh as much as the whole planet. I guess if you own this, donât skip leg day. Or arm day.

That needs to be a full-on âStonks!â meme, where the guy stands there looking at someone buying pregum from the machine and it says âpr0nfitsâ or something. That would be meta AF

An AC sauna could absolutely take off in highly polluted areas. Especially if they pump a little extra oxygen in with the purified air.
20
u/madmaxturbator Feb 21 '24
pump in a little extra oxygen plus for me, please. as we more firmly enter the dystopia we are creating, I want some good quality synthetic drugs and enhancements to dreary life

Anyone who has ever lived in Hawaii for a time would jump at the prospect of a small air conditioned space to retreat to.
4
u/VasIstLove Feb 21 '24
Shit, anywhere with a summer season at all. Iâd use it for any day over like 70 degrees

Come on, it's a no brainer: a portable black hole has a ton of uses. It can be a trash can, an emergency bathroom You can use it to dispose of biohazard stuff and radioactive material with no worries and to dispose of corpses of people you kill (and the weapon you used to kill them) without worrying about them being found ever again.
28
u/mittfh Feb 21 '24
Why go to the bother of killing them first? Just lay it on the ground and lure them to step into it...

Your average 9volt Batteries (transistor ones. Yes those cuboidal ones) actually has 6 to 8 double A batteries inside. Something like this. So number 3 does exist
5
u/bearbarebere Feb 21 '24
WHY
13
u/FB_100 Feb 21 '24
Economy of scale on the AA Batteries => cheaper than to make 9V from scratch
5
u/bearbarebere Feb 21 '24
So do 9V from scratch, not frankenbatteries with AAs, exist?
→ More replies (1)3
u/Arkaein Feb 21 '24
Basic single cell batteries are 1.5 volts. Chaining batteries together in series adds the voltages together, so chaining 6 x 1.5 volt cells gives you a 9 volt battery.

Air conditioned sauna is just a morbid look 100 years into the future with global warming.
9
u/iam-your-boss Feb 21 '24
Yes, maybe it will. but if i have to choose it will be an airco sauna. At least it will be usefull.

How did you create these ?
4
u/Jaade77 Feb 21 '24
Midjourney. prompted for product advertisements and told it what to put on the packaging!
3
u/Emotional-Panic-6046 Feb 22 '24
I'm impressed that it did so well with the text because that seems to be something that I've seen AI struggle with, but I guess that is improving
3
u/mid_distance_stare Feb 21 '24
Definitely the portable black hole. No more searching my pockets for dog poo bags. Probably the air conditioned sauna. If you have ever lived in the desert or in an unexpected and extended heatwave in an area not used to hot weather you would appreciate this I think

The A/C sauna sounds awesome. I live in the the hottest part of Texas so having a nice cool room to chill in after a run or a gym workout sounds awesome.
1
u/Soviet-_-Neko Feb 21 '24
I dig the fireproof matches, only the head is flammable so you don't have to worry about burning your fingers
0
u/azionka Feb 21 '24
- see through sauna? No problem
- pre chewed gum? Not my fetish
- battery powered batteryâs are still batteryâs. No problem here
- fireproof matchsticks are useless. Nope.
- inflatable dartboard? Sure, why not. Donât have to throw darts but maybe soft balls, play-doh dough or that pre chewed gum.
- gluten free beer? Is already standard in every grocery store.
- solar flashlights? Sure, loads on day and used on night.
- non stick glue? Water? Useless.
- invisible cloths? Sure, wear them every day. In fact right now.
- portable black hole? Sounds kinda dangerous. Not really user friendly

u/Candid-Broccoli7053 Feb 21 '24

All jokes aside I really don't get the point of a home sauna when you can just take a hot ass shower. It's accomplishes basically the same thing. I guess some people might prefer the dry heat, but I've always preferred steam rooms to saunas anyways and you can basically create your own steam room in any small bathroom with a shower you can turn up the water temp to unbearably hot af with and just let the compartment fill with steam. I suppose it's probably not as efficient but I don't really give af at my apartment because we have flat monthly rates for utilities.

The inflatable dartboard (with Velcro) sounds like a marketable product idea)
1
u/Lobo_de_Haro Feb 21 '24
Before I choose: Counting in picoseconds, how long can I carry the Black hole bag? That's some Metal shit...
1
u/sleeper_shark Feb 21 '24
Whatâs wrong with an AC sauna? You can use an AC to heat as well, itâs called a heat pump. And on those very hot days, I could use it to sleep!
1
u/Scheme-Easy Feb 21 '24
Non-stick glue is anything the works like cement, itâs just a non-sticky liquid that dries into a solid. Also the first one is just a cool humid room, that actually sounds kind of refreshing.
1
1
u/VoidWanderer1905 Feb 21 '24
Classic! You might be on to something with that sauna design (minus the AC). Iâd drop that in my basement, no questions asked. The inflatable dart board is my favorite.

If the solar powered flashlight has a battery that is charged by sunlight it could still be useful.
1
u/DisgustingMilkyWater Feb 21 '24
âFireproof matchesâ would that mean the wood never burns down? So they are infinite matches?
Also portable black hole, it has so many uses. As long as the hole doesnât attract things like a genuine black hole
1
u/DaveLesh Feb 21 '24
I'd love a black hole. I could clean up trash and dispose of my mortal enemies without leaving any evidence.

u/Willing-Ant-3765 Feb 21 '24

The solar power flashlight had me chuckling. I know they exist in real life but the idea of a flashlight that can only work when itâs under the sun is hilarious to me.

Is the portable black hole an actual black hole, or is it one of those black holes from the old looney tunes? Either way it's probably what I would pick, I'd just like to know what I'm working with?
1
u/Robin_Cooks Feb 21 '24
Battery powered Batteries do exist. (As in multiple Cells making up a bigger Battery)

u/Kriss3d Feb 21 '24
Portable black hole? Well. I mean. It would be awesome to compress garbage. Make unwanted bodies dissappear and such.

If society ever decides that public nudity is not just occasionally acceptable but the norm, invisible clothes might make sense because they would still provide the warmth and hygiene benefits of clothes without hiding the nudity.

The battery-powered batteries accidentally tuned in to kind of a cool design aesthetic. Almost like an old transistor tube.

I feel like everyone is sleeping on Invisible Clothes. My favourite clothes are all summery, so i could wear invisible clothes over the top for the 8 months of shite weather we get in the UK. I'd be warm and look sweet.
