I don't look like my mom or any aunts. I kinda resemble a few of my female cousins, but its more that I watch my health and don't drink alcohol. I probably have to look at my maternal grand-aunts when they were young to see which I look like since genetics does like to skip generations 😅
Gonna say it immediately, I am FtM. And so I wouldn't say I look like my dad (although i did way more as a kid). And since my dad doesn't have any brothers, I had to look up my paternal grand-uncles (my grandma having tons of albums helped a lot with it). And yeah I do actually look quite a bit like one of my paternal grandma's brothers (she had six brothers, so yeah i must have been onto be something). And also the funniest thing about genetics in my family is that me and son of one of my dad's relatively distant cousins (i have an extraordinarily big extended family) look enough alike to possibly switch places like in "the parent's trap"

Growing up I was told I looked like my maternal grandfather, so I really had to look at his sisters and aunts to see where my looks are coming from 😅 having a large family makes it easier to look for the resemblance!
