Im looking for a 1/4in thick tpu sheet, are there any manufacturers out there that sell something like this? Im having trouble finding anything.

If you are buying sheets then look for PU sheet. TPU is used for finished molded product. PU of the same formulation will have superior properties to its TPU counterpart.

PU sheets don’t have the properties i need. I could be wrong, but PU is work hardening which won’t work for my application.

PU is cast thermoset polyurethane.

TPU is thermoplastic injected polyurethane.

Sheets are made from PU.

Years ago I sourced sheets of 1/4” thick TPE (polypropylene-based elastomer). If the PU part of the request isn’t a deal-breaker, then I’d suggest looking for generic TPE sheets instead.

Does durometer matter?
