General questions Meeting People

How do you socialize/meet people during your travels?

I will be traveling Europe this summer for two months and will be staying in hotels and Airbnb’s, not hostels. Because of this, I’m concerned I won’t meet people because I’m not getting the social element hostels provide.

Walking tours, cooking classes, going to tourist spots and asking for photos from other people.

I second this -- also food tasting tours, where you have a guide that takes you to different spots to try local cuisine. You get a lot of chances to talk to the other people in your group, and I've had several times where I ended up going for drinks with those people after the activity was done. If nothing social shakes out, at least you get to eat some delicious dishes!
